Privacy policy

1. Introduction

Disruptiv respects your privacy and handles your personal data carefully and confidentially. This privacy policy explains which personal data we process, for what purpose, on what legal basis, how long we retain it, with whom we share it and what rights you have. We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

3. Which personal data we process

Depending on how you interact with us, we process, among other things, the following data:

• Contact and enquiries: first and last name, email address, company name, job title and the content of your message.
• Newsletter: name and email address.
• Clients and engagements: contact and company details, data required to carry out the engagement, and invoicing and payment details.
• Applicants: name, contact details, CV, cover letter, education and work experience, and any other data you share with us yourself.

4. Purposes and legal bases

We only process your personal data for clearly defined purposes and on the basis of one of the legal bases set out in the GDPR:

• Getting in touch and issuing quotes – legal basis: performance of a contract, or steps taken prior to entering into one, at your request, and/or our legitimate interest in commercial communication.
• Delivering our services and engagements – legal basis: performance of the agreement.
• Sending our newsletter – legal basis: your consent.
• Handling job applications – legal basis: your consent and the steps preceding a possible employment contract.
• Complying with legal obligations (such as the statutory obligation to keep tax records) – legal basis: legal obligation.

5. Retention periods

We do not retain your personal data any longer than is necessary for the purposes for which we collect it, or for as long as the law requires us to. As a guide:

• Contact and enquiry data: 24 months after the last contact.
• Client administration and invoices: 7 years (statutory tax retention obligation).
• Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe.
• Application data: 24 months after the last contact.

6. Sharing with third parties

We do not sell your data. We only share personal data where this is necessary for the purposes mentioned above or where we are legally required to do so.

• Processors: service providers who process data on our behalf, such as our hosting provider, CRM system, email and newsletter software and analytics tools. We enter into data processing agreements with these parties.
• Competent authorities: where we are legally required to do so.

7. Cookies

Our website uses cookies and similar techniques. Our Cookie policy explains exactly which cookies we use, for what purpose, and how you manage your preferences.

8. Automated decision-making

We do not make decisions with legal or other significant consequences for you based solely on automated processing, including profiling.

9. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss or unlawful processing, such as access restrictions, secure connections and agreements with our processors. 10. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the following rights with regard to your personal data:

• The right of access.
• The right to rectification (correction).
• The right to erasure.
• The right to restriction of processing.
• The right to object to the processing.
• The right to data portability.
• The right to withdraw consent.

11. Filing a complaint

If we are unable to resolve the matter together, you have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch supervisory authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (Dutch Data Protection Authority), via autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

12. Changes to this privacy policy

We may amend this privacy policy from time to time, for example in the case of new services or changed regulations. You will always find the most up-to-date version on our website. This policy was last updated in July 2026.
